The Madness that surrounds us
Each day, i read the news with trepidation ; i live in hope that the world will be a better place; i wonder why we as humans cant get on; i dont understand that man wants to kill and be killed for reason's that make little sense to me.
heaven and earth are said to be one and the same things by some theologians. Hell another place. it is curious that Christians define such places of better and worse; they of course going to the better and the rest of us to the worse.
I now know that Christians make some of those "worse" places. Christians are no less bigoted, prejudice or false than the rest of us. Perhaps they are more false then us, because they have to keep up a false hope and father Christmas like pantomime that everything will be alright. it isnt and it wont be any time soon.
Money is the evil that drives this world; to which all religions and all men subscribe. it is the same evil that keeps tyrants in power; and the same evil that tries to dispose of the tyrants for claim of oil rich deposits.
it is a madness that dictates global economies and economies of scale , that defines units of production and production of units... it wastes that which is most valuable - resources - human and other.
and so the wheel turns. We are trapped in the wheel, running as fast and as hard as possible to go nowhere and to be no one. this is the madness that surrounds us.
the answers are no longer simple - maybe they never were, but our consumption and comfort have added an inevitability we could not have forseen, namely extiction by convenience.
